All communication with Open Passport is conducted over SSL encrypted sessions supporting up to 256bit. This is higher than many ecommerce and banking websites use!
Passwords are never ever stored by Open Passport! They are discarded the moment that authentication completes. They are never logged or stored in a database whatsoever.
